At Tigani Family Dentistry, we’re more than a dental team—we’re a family. With decades of experience, deep community roots, and a shared passion for patient care, each member of our staff brings unique talents and a warm touch to your experience with us.
Dr. Kristin M. Tigani-Taylor, D.D.S.
Co-Owner and Dentist
A Delaware native and Georgetown graduate, Dr. Kristin earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland and completed her residency at Christiana Care Health System. She has been a dentist with the practice since 2010 and brings a forward-thinking approach to patient care, with advanced training in airway-focused dentistry, Vivos therapies, and Botox. Passionate about continuous improvement, Dr. Kristin is known for her attention to detail, love of puzzles, and for keeping the team on their toes—in the best way.
Dr. James V. Tigani IV, D.D.S.
Co-Owner and Dentist
Dr. Jimmy began as a dental assistant in the practice in 2006 before earning his dental degree from the University of Maryland and completing a residency at the University of Iowa. He officially joined as a dentist in 2015. A certified Vivos provider since 2019, he brings a modern approach to general and airway dentistry. Outside the office, he enjoys running, cooking, ballroom dancing, and playfully bothering his sister, Dr. Kristin.
Lorraine
Office Manager & Hygiene Coordinator
Lorraine has been with the practice since 1981, starting as a dental assistant and becoming the heart and soul of the office over the years. Known for her unmatched memory and warm rapport with patients, she keeps the practice running smoothly while ensuring every patient feels cared for. She cherishes time with her family and loves capturing nature through photography.
Allison
In-House Lab Technician
Allison is a skilled dental technician with a background in fine arts and dental lab technology. She’s certified by the National Board and brings artistry and precision to every appliance she crafts. From hand-layered porcelain to cutting-edge 3D printing, her work ensures fast, high-quality results. You’ll also see her artwork throughout the office!
Lori
Dental Assistant
Lori has been with Tigani Family Dentistry since 2004 and is a graduate of Delcastle’s Dental Assisting Program. Her clinical expertise and warm personality make patients feel right at home. She’s happiest by the beach or boating with her husband and two sons.
Lisa
Dental Assistant (Semi-Retired)
Lisa began in 1975 and quickly became an essential part of the team, forming a legendary partnership with the original Dr. Tigani. Though semi-retired, she still stops by to help, bringing joy and stories to the office every time. She loves time with her grandchildren, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband.
Tashi
Dental Assistant
Tashi has been assisting since she was 17 and joined the practice in 2022. With a love for family time, crime shows, and her two cats, Leon and Felix, she brings both skill and warmth to every patient interaction.
Michelle
Front Desk & Check-Out Coordinator
With 13 years of experience as a dental assistant, Michelle transitioned to the front desk and loves connecting with patients in her new role. She joined the team in 2024 and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two kids.
Tracey
Financial Coordinator
Tracey began as a dental assistant in 2012 and grew into her current role by learning every aspect of front desk and insurance coordination. A music lover with a soft spot for tulips and her pug, Darcy, she brings energy and know-how to helping patients navigate their treatment plans.
Renee
Dental Hygienist
Renee is a seasoned professional who joined our dental family in early 2024. She brings warmth, humor, and a genuine love for caring for others to every patient visit. Known for her laughter and playful spirit, Renee enjoys decorating her operatory to match the seasons and believes in making every appointment a positive experience. Outside of the office, she loves cooking, practical jokes, spending time in nature—and has a surprising soft spot for alligators.
